About Interpoll
Interpoll is a public decision layer for communities that need more than a feed.
Interpoll started from a simple frustration: important community decisions often end up trapped inside screenshots, fast-moving comment threads, or private app surfaces that search engines and future members cannot understand. A poll may be useful for one day, but the reasoning around it can remain useful for months. A community discussion may begin as a post, but it can become a reference point for people who arrive later.
What Interpoll is
Interpoll is a browser-first platform for public polls, posts, communities, and decision records. The app experience is built for interaction: creating communities, publishing posts, opening polls, voting, chatting, and managing private spaces. The server-rendered site is built for discovery: it gives public communities, topics, posts, and polls stable pages that can be read without loading the full app shell first.
That split matters. A community platform should not force every visitor, crawler, or casual reader into the heaviest possible path. If someone only wants to read what a public poll asked, which community published it, or what posts are active inside a community, the page should load plainly and directly. If someone wants to vote, comment, message, or manage keys, the app can take over.
Why public pages matter
Search engines are not the only audience for SSR pages. People share links in messages, save URLs, revisit old decisions, and compare what a community believed at different moments. A server-rendered post or poll page gives that shared link a real title, description, canonical URL, and readable body. It also gives the surrounding community and topic pages a stronger internal structure.
The current public site is intentionally focused on what should be visible: public space summaries, public posts, public polls, topic hubs, source context, privacy and terms pages, and direct contact details. Private encrypted material is not part of the SEO surface.
How Interpoll handles trust
Interpoll does not pretend that decentralization alone prevents abuse. The codebase includes proof-of-work challenges, relay validation, signatures, timestamps, nonces, spam scoring, and moderation-oriented services. These layers are designed to increase the cost of automated posting and make public writes more accountable.
The same care applies to private coordination. Encrypted chats and private community flows use local key material and encrypted payloads. Relays are useful for moving data and keeping communities reachable, but they should not be treated as trusted readers of private content.
How the app and this site work together
The interactive app is available at endless.social. That gives users a stable place to open the full SPA, recover access, and interact with the network. This domain, interpoll.endless.social, is the public SSR layer for discovery, documentation, and readable public records.
This arrangement also protects the project from hosting changes. The public site can explain, index, and link to the content that matters while the app can keep evolving as the place where people create, vote, chat, and operate communities.
Who Interpoll is for
Interpoll can serve small communities that need a transparent way to gather opinions, developer groups that want searchable project decisions, student or club communities that need polls with context, and public-interest groups that want discussions to remain readable after the initial conversation ends.
It is not designed to be a clone of a single social network. The priority is the combination of public readability, community ownership, relay recovery, encrypted coordination, and decision records that can be revisited.
